Announcing the Gampo Abbey Blog Spot

Gampo Abbey announced today the launch of their new blog, The Gampo Abbey Blog Spot.

They invite all Shambhala members and the extended sangha family, along with the local community and friends of the Abbey, to visit.

“Our new blog will serve as a place to share important news about current events and upcoming activities at Gampo Abbey, as well as a place to share stories about how the Abbey has affected the lives of people who have visited or lived here.”

The blog is also a place to engage in dialogue. You are welcome to post your comments and thoughts, and to sign up for posts emailed directly to you from the blog.

The blog currently features a short teaching on the meaning of commitment by Gampo Acharya Pema Chodron, a YouTube video about the Abbey narrated by Ani Pema, and announcements about upcoming retreat openings.

Over the coming busy summer months, look to the Gampo Abbey blog for additional stories from Abbey residents and monastics, along with news, photos, and videos about the annual Lobster Release and softball game on Canada Day, the visit and teachings of Ani Pema, and much more.
