Tomorrow, December 21st, is Children’s Day in Shambhala. The Sakyong Wangmo, Khandro Tseyang, has recorded a message for the holiday to share with the community. On Children’s Day, we can all gather to appreciate the children in our sangha, and to enjoy the festive season.

Listen to a message from the Sakyong Wangmo.

Children’s Day is the Shambhala holiday that marks the winter solstice — the shortest day of the year. On this day, families and all community members gather together in Shambhala centres around the world to commemorate the winter solstice and the promise of the sun’s return.

Cheerful Children’s Day to everyone!
