In celebration of the approaching Year of the Wood Sheep, the Office of the Kalapa Court and the Office of Culture and Decorum and Poetry Space are pleased to announce the second annual Shambhala Day Poetry Contest.
As this is the 20th Anniversary of the Sakyong’s Enthronement, the theme for this short poetry contest is “Lineage.” As with last year’s contest, the winning entry will be read aloud during the Sakyong’s Shambhala Day Address on February 19th.
Submission Guidelines:
While time is short, we hope to be able to meet or exceed the response to last year’s contest. Please join us in this celebration of “Lineage”!!
