A student of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, Sarah is, among other things, a writer. Currently the Editor for the Shambhala Times, she has a degree from Naropa University entitled Embodied Systems. After living in Nepal for a year, Sarah spent four years as the Center Coordinator at the Boston Shambhala Center where she started the Wake up Boston! blog. Presently she calls Karme Choling retreat center home, where her husband also lives and works. She can often be found traveling the mandala by bicycle, train, and if she's lucky, by boat.

Is it possible to feel deeply into our humanity in the midst of our speedy, chaotic world? Can we truly touch in to the underling basic-ness of our experience? What would it mean to express ourselves in society from this ground of goodness? What does the Sakyong mean by “original peace”?

These questions, and more, are what we explore on the Shambhala Times, on a daily basis.
