Scene and HeardThanks Marc!
After a number of months of spearheading efforts to launch the Shambhala Times, today Marc Matheson is stepping down in his role managing solicitations.
We appreciate the countless volunteer hours that Marc has put into the Shambhala Times. His tireless efforts at solicitations has provided a rich tapestry of articles by and about the Shambhala Community.
Marc is leaving the Shambhala Times for employment opportunities with a new website venture, and he may soon help to launch an online version of a local literary journal in Marin County. He will be moving closer to the ocean, to a small village – Inverness – perched in the wooded hills between Tomales Bay and the Point Reyes National Seashore just north of San Francisco.
The volunteer editing team at the Shambhala Times will sorely miss him! And we wish him all the best.
Please send Marc off to his new endeavors with your comments below…

Thank you for all your dedication and availibility. My mail box is suddenly empty and lonely! Your tireless energy helped me in taking my seat. Our paths might cross again at some point, but meanwhile wishing you a lot of joy and creativity in your new projects.

Marc’s tireless energy and rallying spirit paved the way for this magazine. He coaxed the community to speak up and contribute their wisdom, visions, passions, and activity. It takes an explosion of power to launch any endeavor, and Marc put this satellite in orbit around planet Shambhala. Thanks so much Marc, for being a visionary whirlwind of activity. We will miss you and wish you much success in anything you undertake.
