Mandala ProjectsVehicles for Charity
The fleet of trucks at Shambhala Mountain Center is aging and new vehicles are urgently needed. Currently most if not all vehicles have well over 100,000 miles on them. Given the deteriorated state of many of its vehicles, any vehicle of fair condition would help Shambhala Mountain Center to improve the fleet.
If anyone has a vehicle in poor shape that we cannot use on the land, it can still be donated and be very beneficial. Shambhala Mountain Center has partnered with Vehicles For Charity, who will come to your house and tow the vehicle away. They then auction them off and send the proceeds to Shambhala Mountain Center.
Shambhala Mountain Center Vehicle Needs:
UTVs (Utility Terrain Vehicles) are ideal for the terrain at SMC. They can withstand the ruggedness of the land much better than cars, plus they have a much smaller impact on the land and use next to nothing in gas when compared to the “guzzlers” that we currently own.

Kind and Reasonable dignity bouncing on rocky roads
carriers of throne boxes, Rinpoches, and giddy oryoki servers
praying they will get us to the airport Please
hail-dented, fire-fighting, in the barn, on the town trip
greater and lesser vehicles beyond inspection and no inspection sticker
Cheerfulness without cupholders, seat belts, or even working wipers
Someday the mountain might forget them but the lha never will
Goodbye and thank you, dharma trucks!
