A Little Shambhala Gem Born in Israel

Tal Varon, former director of the New York Shambhala Meditation Center — and current director of the only centre in Israel, and his wife Moran are pleased to introduce the Shambhala sangha to one of its newest additions.

We’re happy to introduce our baby girl, Orr (full name Orr Varon), who was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. Orr means “light” in Hebrew. It took us a long time to finally post this to the community, which shouldn’t be a surprise considering it took us over two months to decide on her name. Orr is doing great and is a cheerful, adorable little girl. We wish we could have her meet our sangha friends in person more easily, but hope this will happen in time.

With love,
Moran and Tal
Israel

Congratulations to you both. You’ve certainly been busy in the three years since I met you in Israel, I now see not only in your hard work establishing an active centre there! I hope to be able to visit again at some point.

  3. Congratulations! She’s adorable.
