Inauguração do Centro Shambhala de Meditação

Em agosto de 2010 Shambhala Brasil inaugurou o novo Centro Shambhala de São Paulo com a ajuda de Membros do Centro, membros da comunidade, amigos e convidados especiais. Foi uma noite especial, marcada por encontros e reencontros, oferendas e presentes auspiciosos, lágrimas de muita emoção e muitos sorrisos felizes.

Shambhala Brasil Inaugurates New Center in São Paulo

With the help of members, friends and special guests, Shambhala Brasil inaugurated the new Shambhala Center of São Paulo in August 2010. That was a special night highlighted by reuniting with old friends, meeting new people, special offerings and auspicious gifts to the Center, and tears and smiles of joy.

The inauguration party was full of people, more than 100 attended through the evening – members of the center, family, friends and special guest from Taoist and Buddhist communities in São Paulo. The Kendo demonstration, a special offering to the Center, made a big impact on the audience, when demonstrating the power of this meditative discipline.

The members of the Center put together a voluptuous buffet of delicious foods, drinks and desserts, complete with a custom designed GES cupcake. Auspiciously, Pema’s new book in Portuguese, “Taking the Leap,” was launched during the inauguration, after which the offerings and toast were made, the music began and the party and feast went on into the night. A night we will never forget!
