Commemorating the 35th Anniversary of the Parinirvana of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche

At Four mile house, Boulder, Colorado.

Parinirvana Day

Yesterday, April 4, was the commemoration of the Parinirvana of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche – and marked the date of his passing in 1987. To honor his incredible legacy, longtime students and teachers Catherine Eveillard, Daniele Bollini, and Richard John shared their heartfelt experiences with Chögyam Trungpa. With candor, humor and gentleness they share what it was like to become part of the Shambhala community, and explain some of the ways that the teachings continue to have a positive impact on their lives.

In celebration of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche’s life, we invite you to share what he meant to you, or how the Shambhala teachings have benefitted you or helped you in your life. If you have a story you’d like to share, please post it in the comment section.
