Stand Against Suffering

A number of leaders in the Shambhala community participated in creating, or gave their name in support of, an article titled “Stand Against Suffering: A Buddhist Call to Action,” published in  the April/May issue of Lion’s Roar. Many Shambhalians are deeply concerned about the path that the US is taking; this article does not “take sides,” but highlights the commitment we share in addressing the suffering and injustice that many in our world are facing. Rather than publishing our own story here on the Shambhala Times today, we are instead encouraging our readers to visit the Lion’s Roar website and read this article:
