Thank you, Ira.
Shambhala Times is driven by community-generated content: the stories, news, thoughts and work of the Shambhala community. Yes, you! We want to hear how people are leading their lives, caring for family and livelihood in these difficult times, how practice and the teachings are being integrated into all areas of our daily life. Why? Because this is the story of enlightened society, how individuals, families and communities are working with the ups and downs, incorporating the wisdom and delight of the lineage into new territory. And because Shambhala Times is accessible to anyone anywhere with an Internet connection, your stories can be inspiring to the entire world. Visit our submissions page for details, and please, stay in touch!

Marc Matheson, for Shambhala Times

I think this goes under the category of general comment, about our new Shambhala Times. I was inspired to communicate with a community friend about this new venue, and I copy the relevant text below…
“I had occasion to discuss the new web based Community rag with my friend. Like her, I had and have reservations about going web. Honestly, however, I didn’t use to read all of it (in print), and now I also don’t, (and yes, maybe read less now, and am exposed to less). But…I do now find myself being in a more intereactive mode with the news, and so have to think some good comes with the bad.”
