In 2002, Sakyong Mipham addressed the sangha for Harvest of Peace from Halifax.
Our responsibility as practitioners is to look at these kleshas and see that although there may be a war happening somewhere else, fundamentally the seed of that aggression is within our own minds, in not being able to be patient. Sometimes patience means just holding our mind for a moment before saying something negative to another person.
