Sakyong and FamilyA Face We Will Know Herein as “Jetsun Drukmo”
The arrival of this beautiful face, fresh to our Shambhala mandala, was greeted yesterday by a magnificent rainbow at Gampo Abbey. Just after dawn, as residents entered the shrine room for morning chants, a stunning rainbow of a lovely pink color, with rosy-red and turquoise highlights, arose to the south of the abbey – straight out of the ocean. Pink clouds also surrounded Gampo Lhatse.
Those present describe the rainbow as being “majestic, upright, and feminine.”
Around the same time, Gary Brown heard from an uninformed caretaker at Kalapa Valley that there were many animals of all sorts gathering in the meadow and rainbows seemed to be everywhere.
In Shambhala, we can truly praise the birth of this blessed one.
