Arrow Journal Offers Editorial Positions

Arrow+Logo+Vector+2The Arrow: A Journal of Wakeful Society, Culture & Politics, is offering two positions, one a short-term, Assistant Editor internship position, and the second a low frequency but longer-term Associate Editor position. Please read on if you are interested.

The Arrow, Assistant Editor
The Arrow: A Journal of Wakeful Society, Culture & Politics is seeking three Assistant Editors to work part time (10 hours per week) from September to December 2015, with the possibility of an extension. Assistant Editors will gain experience with reviewing article submissions, copy-editing, and assisting with the general operations of an online journal. Candidates should have, or are currently completing, a B.A. or M.A. in Religious Studies, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Politics, Economics, Ecology, or a related field. Candidates should also have an interest in contemplative traditions and their potential application for pursuing social and ecological justice. The Arrow, Associate Editor
The Arrow: A Journal of Wakeful Society, Culture & Politics is seeking several Associate Editors to work part time (10 hours per month) to collaborate on the journal’s development in the coming months and years. Working with the chief editors, Associate Editors will help to curate content, network with authors, and review submissions. We are seeking editors who are interested in helping to develop The Arrow into a flourishing online publication that explores the relationship between contemplative practice, cultural transformation, and political theory and praxis. Candidates should have, or are currently completing, a B.A., M.A., or Ph.D. in Religious Studies, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Politics, Economics, Ecology, or a related field. Candidates should also have an interest in contemplative traditions their potential application for pursuing social and ecological justice.
