On December 28th, 2013 at the Minneapolis Shambhala Center, Shastri Mark Blumenfeld, from Madison WI performed the wedding ceremony for Susan and Patrick.
Susan says, “We had 80 people there, half were family, all of whom had traveled from far away places including Wisconsin, New York, Vermont, Ohio, Colorado and New Mexico.”
The reception after the ceremony was at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis in a room called the Skyline Room, which has amazing views of the city, Susan reported.
“Everyone thought we were crazy to get married in December in Minnesota,” Susan and Patrick shared, “but the weather 100% cooperated. We had beautiful weather for people’s traveling days and the day of the ceremony – it was downright warm with temperatures in the 30’s! It didn’t get really cold and crazy till after people left!”
