Ani Pema Chodron – on Oprah!

GEO55447_1[3]TODAY at 11am EST!

Oprah is joined by Pema Chodron, an American-born Tibetan Buddhist nun and bestselling author, for an uplifting conversation about her spiritual journey and the importance of finding inner contentment. Pema, the principal teacher at Gampo Abbey, a monastery in Nova Scotia, Canada, talks with Oprah about ways to deal with life’s difficult moments and the value of embracing fear and suffering. As one of the first Western women to be fully ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist nun in 1981, she believes we all have the capacity to awaken to more fuller, conscious lives. They also discuss her book “When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times.”

You can watch the whole thing on streaming video. It was very helpful and it’s delightful to see how Oprah adds little videos to explain concepts like suffering or Shenpa to her viewers.
